BT contract win for Communisis centre of excellence in Liverpool

CONTRACT printing and marketing services specialist Communisis reported a significant contract win for its Liverpool plant today.

The Leeds-based group has clinched a five-year contract with British Telecom to produce all of its billing and associated customer communications, starting from next month.

It said today: “This work will be produced at our transactional centre of excellence in Liverpool, using high-speed colour digital technology, to make the billing forms clearer, more personal and more dynamic.

“This is additional to the BT shareholder communications that Communisis has produced for many years.”

The Liverpool site, on Speke’s Estuary Commerce Park, employs more than 300 staff.

Communisis chief executive Andy Blundell said: “We are delighted to be entering a strategically important new relationship with BT.

“This provides further evidence of the attraction of the group’s market-leading proposition in the application of high-speed colour digital technology for transactional communications.”
