A PHARMACEUTICAL group has relocated its headquarters from Chorley to Skelmersdale.
MedicX Pharmacy has achieved three years of sustained growth and development and has moved to the Paddock Business Centre in West Pimbo as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
The company offers patient-focused pharmacy healthcare with a network of 16 pharmacy practices covering Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Yorkshire, as well as locations in South East England including Surrey, Wiltshire, Hertfordshire and Greater London.
During the past nine months the company has opened seven new pharmacy practices providing services to suit the needs of patients and local communities with late night, weekend and bank holiday opening hours.
Alongside dispensing and free prescription deliveries, its pharmacy practices provide a range of advisory, testing and screening services.
MedicX Pharmacy chief executive Steve Jeffers said: “We’re very pleased to announce that our central team has now moved to bigger premises in Skelmersdale.
“Given our sustained growth during the last 12 months, we now require larger office space to oversee operations for all 16 pharmacy practices and provide additional capacity for the future.”
He added: “We take with us many fond memories of Chorley, but look forward to expanding our pharmacy practice locations throughout England from our new central team headquarters.”
