A ST HELENS recruitment firm hopes it could win millions of pounds worth of new business after being appointed by two of the UK’s largest healthcare procurement groups.
CRG (Castlerock Recruitment Group) has been appointed to frameworks managed by Health Trust Europe (HTE) and London Procurement Partnership (LPP), meaning it will now have the chance to supply health professionals and health science services staff to the organisations represented by those bodies.
Birmingham-based HTE works with 26 acute, mental health, community and primary care trusts across the UK, while LPP works with 73 member NHS trusts and hospitals in London.
CRG says the agreements could help it to capture “a large slice” of the NHS’s annual temporary recruitment bill, which it says is worth some £129m a year.
Ian McDougall, managing director of CRG, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with two of the largest procurement organisations in the UK. Between them, they are responsible for maximising the purchasing power of NHS trusts up and down the country.
“To gain a place on these frameworks, CRG had to undergo a rigorous assessment of its business model and capabilities. We will be working hard to deliver the highest quality candidates with a keen eye on care and compliance.”
CRG was founded in 2000 and currently turns over £15.3m a year.
