Easyjet sees passenger and load factor levels improve

BUDGET carrier Easyjet today announced improved passenger and load factor levels for January.

The airline, the biggest operator by passenger numbers at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, saw passenger numbers rise by 4% to 3.88m last month, compared with January 2012.

Load factor, or the number of available seats sold, improved by 2.4% to 84.4%.

Overall totals for the 12 months so far show a 7% increase in passenger levels to 59.35m and a 1.4% improvement in its load factor of 88.9%.
