Savills relocates to Princes Dock in Liverpool

PROPERTY firm Savills has agreed to relocate its Liverpool office to the waterfront Princes Dock development.

The 20-strong team will move from its current home in Water Street to the first floor of Building 8 on the dock.

Savills has agreed a deal with owner Peel Land & Property to take 2,330 sq ft of office space.

Savills offers cost consultancy and project management services, and the Liverpool team is led by directors Kieran Rainsford and Giles Brooke.

It will work closely with Savills’ Manchester office, which has been established for 14 years .

Liza Marco, property manager at Peel, said: “We are delighted Savills has chosen to establish a permanent base for their Liverpool office in Princes Dock.

“Princes Dock is in an enviable location with excellent services on offer to occupiers.

“Building 8 offers remarkable unobstructed views of the River Mersey, on-site parking as well as easy access to the nearby amenities at the development.”

Princes Dock is set in 14.5 hectares, situated close to the proposed £6bn Liverpool Waters redevelopment scheme.

There are more than 2,500 people employed within the dock, with occupiers including Coutts Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG.

Peel is currently talking to other businesses to “further boost economic activity within Princes Dock”.
