HIRE Station, the specialist supplier of plant, tools and safety and lifting equipment to industry, has taken a 6,000 sq ft industrial unit at Jensen Court, Runcorn.
The Nottingham-based business, which has 87 branches nationwide and is part of the VP group of companies, has taken the premises on a fully repairing and insuring 10-year lease at a rent equating to £4 per sq ft.
The letting was secured by the Manchester office of Colliers International on behalf of Urban Waterside, the privately-owned Cheshire-based property developer and manager and owner of Jensen Court.
Howard Hagan, the managing director of Urban Waterside, said: “The letting to Hire Station demonstrates that occupiers will be attracted to a scheme which offers a quality product at the right price and on the right terms.”
Jensen Court is a 70,000 sq ft industrial estate which has been refurbished by Urban Waterside and offers a range of units from 5,000 sq ft up to 15,000 sq ft. Occupiers include Cargill Flavors, Hyloc and David Stearne Pharmacies.
