CONSTRUCTION and maintenance services firm Hertel has moved its North West regional office, which employs 40 people, to Preston Brook near Runcorn.
The company, the UK subsidiary of the Dutch-based Hertel Group, works in the oil and gas, power and process industries providing services including scaffolding, insulation, painting, asbestos removal, mechanical and civils.
It opened an office in the North West 25 years ago in Bold, near St Helens, when it started providing maintenance at the Stanlow refinery.
In addition to Stanlow, Hertel also now works at the petrochemical plants at Rocksavage in Runcorn and Carrington.
