Bean opens new outlet at Liverpool Innovation Park

CAFE operator Bean has taken space in the reception area of Liverpool Innovation Park (LIP).

The company, which already runs an outlet at the city’s Princes Dock, is taking 500 sq ft within the main reception.

This will combine with an additional 1,223 sq ft seating area, opening out onto an external terrace.

The facility completes the recent £4m project to create a new main reception, networking hubs and meeting spaces at the Edge Lane campus.

The café area will be wi-fi-enabled.

Bean, established in 2008, has coffee shops in Liverpool and Manchester.

Directors Jon Whyte and Vip Bhatt have big plans for the firm.

Mr Whyte said: “Our mobile coffee van, the Bean Machine, has been visiting Liverpool Innovation Park daily for over a year now, and we are really looking forward to becoming permanent residents.

“Bean@LIP is our fifth coffee shop, and we have ambitious growth plans for the next 18 months.”
