CASTLE Street, in Liverpool city centre, will come alive with the sights and sounds of Latin America later this month.
On Saturday, September 24, the Fiesta Latina event will see Cuban and Andean bands, flamenco and salsa dancers and capoeira demonstrations performed in the street. The one-day festival, will also feature stalls selling food and merchandise.
Paul Rice, chief executive of the Liverpool Commercial District Partnership, is inviting all retailers based in the newly-created Business Improvement District to take up the offer of a free stall at the event.
Mr Rice added: “This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses within the commercial district to take advantage of a free place at what promises to be a fun-filled day.
“Retailers don’t have to have a Latin American connection to take part and are welcome to bring their own themes. The Fiesta Latina has something for all, and we would be delighted if members of the commercial district were to get involved.”
