BARNFIELD Centric, the joint venture development company between Capital & Centric and Barnfield Construction, has started the speculative construction of 82,000 sq ft at the £6m Estuary Banks Business Park, in Speke, south Liverpool. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-2012.
The scheme received £2.54m of European Regional Development Fund money, and it is anticipated that it could create in the region of 250-300 jobs.
The joint venture received planning permission earlier this year, and the five-acre site was purchased from the Northwest Development Agency in summer, 2011.
The Estuary Banks scheme will offer 20 hybrid units.
