Daily Post business club member Phill Woolley works for the Entwistle Group, a digital reprographics and printing company based in Liverpool with further offices in Manchester, Warrington and Middleton.
Phill has been with the company for three years looking after the large format side of the business. At 53, Phill’s highest qualification would be between A Levels and winning the over 40s fathers race at his daughters school and says ‘believe me that was educational’.
His biggest achievement in business was buying out the company that he worked for in the 80’s and doubling their turnover in the first year but, his biggest regret is working for a company for 15 years before finally seeing the light and moving on!
The best advice he received was to work in a business you love with people you like! His unfulfilled ambitions are to play for Everton ‘sadly not looking so possible now’ he says and paying off his mortgage ‘happily now looking a lot more possible’ he follows.
Phill’s aspirations for Entwistle Group are to increase the client base and services provided and to expand the business into larger premises in Liverpool. He says that he would like to think that he’s an approachable and inspirational boss, and in his personal life he’s been married to the love of his life Sally for 34 years and has two children, 29 year old daughter Helen and 23 year old son Tom living on the Wirral.
