Phil Wildbur: Straight out of bed and into the office

pm:Lunch – usually a sandwich in a lay-by.

pm:Board meeting with another business in Liverpool. This goes on all afternoon and we discuss debts, credit problems and costs that are too high. If we go back 10 years we were dealing with manufacturers, five years ago it was software companies and now it is law firms and architects – the days when they were rock solid are long gone.

pm:Drive back to Ruthin and call in and catch up with messages on the way.

pm:Turn the phone off and spend a couple of hours with the family.

pm:Catch up with my wife about the separate property business we run.

pm:Back in the office checking messages. Clients who are worried about their businesses are always likely to call at all hours of the day or night, and at weekends.

pm:Finally get to bed.
