LIVERPOOL’S position on the cutting edge of fashion received another boost last night with the launch of the latest exclusive store in the city centre.
Vero Moda/Jack and Jones opens for business today at the former Zara’s site on the corner of Church Street and Paradise Street.
Last night an exclusive VIP party allowed specially invited guests to get a sneak preview of what was on offer at the 16,000 sq ft store, which caters for men, women, and children.
The new Liverpool store is the sixth to be opened in the UK by the Danish-owned fashion chain.
Manager Paula Pearson said: “We’ve had a great response to the opening event and I think the store is going to do well.
“Liverpool is a fashionable city and we’re perfectly placed, with the Liverpool One complex on one side and the re-development on the other.
“Tonight is all about people getting a feel for the store and we’ve had some really good feedback.”
