TIMES are tough for all of us right now, with rising food and fuel bills and doom and gloom everywhere you turn. So, if you are looking for an excuse to buy a little something to cheer yourself up, then we have found it.

Most high street fashion stores now have their own "pink" clothes and accessories ranges to help promote breast cancer awareness and raise money for cancer research charities.

You only have to spend a little to give a lot, and best of all you get a treat for yourself in the process, plus you get that warm, fuzzy glow of knowing that you have done your bit for charity.

Tesco, Asda, Warehouse, Dorothy Perkins, Debenhams and Peacocks all offer pink clothing from slippers to sleep sets.

LOTS of celebrities have been quick to do their bit for breast cancer awareness fashion. Actresses such as Keira Knightley and Susie Amy and model Lisa Snowdon, with George at Asda’s Tickled Pink campaign, while Spice Girl Mel B and model Nell McAndrew can be found modelling lingerie ranges for Debenhams’ 2008 Breast Cancer Campaign.
