Ray Quinn prepares for Dancing On Ice final

RAYMOND ARTHUR QUINN was born on August 25, in 1988, in Liverpool, and has spent his whole life singing and dancing.

Ray Quinn found fame as a child actor playing bullied schoolboy Anthony Murray in Liverpool soap Brookside.

It earned him a soap award in 2002 for best dramatic performance.

Ray is also known for his performances in the third series of ITV talent show The X Factor.

He came second in the final, losing out to Leona Lewis.

The singer didn’t initially make it into the final seven of TV judge Simon Cowell’s group, but Cowell expanded the group to the final eight to include talented star Ray.

Ray’s debut album, Doing It My Way, was released in March, 2007. It went straight to number one in the album charts and made it to Platinum.

Later that year, Ray signed up to appear as a judge on ITV’s Baby Ballroom – The Championship, along with Bonnie Langford and Pierre Dulaine.

Ray continued to perform in 2008, singing at the Number One Project concert at the ECHO Arena Liverpool, and appearing in West End show Grease.
