Liverpool's Go Penguins: Hit the penguin trail to highlight global warming

THE Penguin parade will be here until January 10. As with the loveable Superlambananas, people are able to follow a fun, colourful Penguin trail – taking photographs and enjoying their unique designs.

They showcase the region’s creativity, heritage, architecture, the Penguins, and in this, our Year of the Environment, they will help to educate, as well as entertain, us.

The penguins were chosen because of their association with global warming and the melting ice-caps.

They have been commissioned by Liverpool City Council and organised by Wild In Art, who were responsible for the Go Superlam-bananas trail in Capital of Culture year. To find out more, see www.go penguins.co.uk

So what are you waiting for? P-p-p-pick up a Go Penguins trail map from tourist information centres, the Merseytravel rail network and online at www.gopenguins. co.uk and waddle off to meet our new friends.
