Emma Johnson checks out the cutting edge designers at Topshop this season
TOPSHOP have always been the hippest store on the high street, so it makes sense that they team up with the coolest kids on the design block.
Last season, that included the likes of Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders and Ann-Sofie Back, and this year is looking just as strong.
Print designer Saunders makes a triumphant return with the launch of a denim and devore collection, in store this month.
Geometric shapes and block colours run throughout the five-piece collection, with a denim pencil skirt and matching cropped strapless basque in panelled denim dyed in three different jean colours.
Joining Saunders on the Topshop rails this month will be Ashish Gupta, with his Ashish for Topshop collection.
Known as the “King of Sequins”, Gupta first crossed paths with Topshop in 2004 when he won the store’s New Generation sponsorship.
