HOLLYOAKS’S youngest star swung into action at a new green project.
Ten-year-old Ellis Hollins, who plays Tom Cunningham, was among guests of honour to mark the completion of Knowsley council’s Play Pathfinder Programme – a £4.36m two-year project to bring 28 exciting natural play spaces to the borough.
Joined by local children at Copthorne Adventure Playground, in Kirkby, Ellis tried out the many attractions at the Peter Pan- themed play space.
The government-backed Play Pathfinder Programme is aimed at offering local children and young people the latest in natural outdoor play.
Knowsley Council’s Executive Director for Neighbourhood Services, David Coulson, said: “Our young people expect – and deserve – no less.”
