Jane Costello
Former Liverpool Echo journalist Jane Costello was the Editor of the Liverpool Daily Post until 2007, a job she held for four years, and has also worked for the Daily Mail.
Her first novel, Bridesmaids, was a top 25 bestseller, a Heatseeker number one and was shortlisted for the Melissa Nathan Award for Comedy Romance.
Jane's latest novel, The Nearly Weds, follows the story of a jilted bride in the aftermath of the big day that never happened. The heroine, Zoe, finds herself unable to face the pitying looks of her friends and family and flees to the US to work as a nanny, where she finds love, friendship and fun - until her past comes calling.
Her books have been translated into several other languages, including German, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Dutch.
Jane lives in Lancashire with her husband and two young sons.
Her next novel, My Single Friend, will be published in April.
