IAN MOORE is a Sunderland-born, Liverpool-based playwright and theatre director committed to producing imaginative, accessible and on-budget work.
A product of the sixties, he describes his reading tastes as "eclectic", covering everything from China Mieville to JRR Tolkien from William Shakespeare to Harper Lee and most things in between.
Ian has recently been nominated for two Manchester Evening News new playwright awards, is artistic director of Black Box Creative Communities, and show-runner on Liverpool’s annual one act play festival, Write Now.
An adopted Liverpudlian – he’s been here since 1994 – he shares his work and life with his partner Gillian and their daughter Rose Ophelia.
