DAWN Collinson talks to the Crosby-born TV director who set Desperate Housewives on the road to success.
She's sharing her own skills, and bringing in a team of experts to pass on theirs.
"The events that we do don't name the characters, because the show is only the basis, but I think they do represent most working women.
"Our experts teach fashion, stylish party planning, modern etiquette and deportment, but without having to put on Marigolds or balance a book on your head.
"It's about giving women more confidence and modern manners to help them deal with every day situations."
