Months of special events planned for Ray of Hope Appeal

THE Ray of Hope Appeal has a number of fundraising events lined up over the coming months. They include:

The Ray of Hope launch night at Anfield after the Middlesbrough game on February 23. This will take place in one of the Centenary Stand suites and include live music, an auction, a raffle and appearances by ex-players.

Collection buckets, provided by the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, which will be placed at various pubs around Anfield over the next few months.

The book Tales From The Travelling Kop, which offers a compilation of supporters’ experiences at Liverpool away games over the last four decades. It is now on sale, with all proceeds going to the Ray of Hope Appeal and the Parkinson’s Disease Society. It costs £18 and is available from www.lulu.com/ content/1350480.

A dash around all 92 league club grounds shortly after the Arsenal v Liverpool game in April. This will be followed by an auction where items collected will be sold to raise money for the appeal.

An end of season fundraising event after the Manchester City game on May 2. More details on this will be announced nearer the time.
