INTERNATIONAL singing star Charlie Landsborough last night chose the Liverpool pub Ma Boyles to launch his latest album, Under Blue Skies.
And there to wish him luck were showbusiness pals including comedy legend Ken Dodd and Brookside and Royle Family star Ricky Tomlinson.
Writer Jimmy McGovern was also with Birkenhead-born Landsborough’s family and friends at the event.
“I began my career singing in pubs and when Ricky introduced me to Ma Boyle’s I liked it and made a note of it,” said Landsborough.
