THE Thursday Show returns to city stand-up venue Comedy Central this week.
Kicking off the season is Matt Kirshen, star of last year’s season of American reality show Last Comic Standing, where he appeared alongside fellow Londoner Gina Yashere.
Cambridge graduate Matt has been touring America since being on the show, and now he’s back in the UK.
With support from Danny Deegan and Wouter Meijs, plus compering skills from a veritable legend of the circuit, Toby Hadoke, the Thursday Show re-launch promises a riot of laughs.
“Comedy Central is committed to giving the people of Liverpool the best and most comprehensive experience of live comedy throughout the week,” said manager Ros Bell.
“Our Thursday nights do not compromise on talent and offer the chance to relax mid-week with some of the nation’s favourite comedians as well our picks for the future.”
