Liverpool Brothers keep art in the family

Family of artists: Tony Evans (centre), with his brothers Stan Evans (left) and Dave Evans (right) with some of their work

"Stan’s work is incredible for someone who has only drawn for four years and we’ve always known what a good artist Dave is.

"The most important thing is we are the last ones left. We’ve lost our brother, sister and our parents, so to do this is a fantastic thing."

Keeping it in the family, they have also included work by Tony’s nine- year-old granddaughter in the exhibition, and hope she follows in their footsteps.

Stan said: "For me, this exhibition is just fantastic. I’ve always lived in awe of these two and just to have three brothers together is wonderful."

* BROTHERS in Arts can be seen at the View Two gallery, on Mathew Street, open Thursday to Saturday afternoons or by appointment, until February 7.
