Stars of the calibre of Beyonce could be set to perform in Liverpool in 2008 (158)
SUPERSTAR Beyoncé Knowles is to play the Echo Arena Liverpool this summer.
The R&B songstress, who last appeared in the city during last year’s MTV Europe Music Video Awards, will perform in Liverpool on June 6.
The city was among a handful of new UK venues added to her European "I Am" Tour.
The tour marks the artist’s first full-length concerts since 2007's sold-out "The Beyoncé Experience" and will premiere live performances of songs from "I am…Sasha Fierce", her third solo album.
