THE team bringing one of Verdi’s best-known operas to the Liverpool Empire next week are looking for extras.
Ellen Kent and Amphitheatre Productions are looking for members of the public to take roles in the chorus, including the parts of the enslaved Royal family and Egyptian soldiers.
Aida tells the story of an Ethiopian princess who is a slave girl in Ancient Egypt. As she falls for the Egyptian, and their love affair unfolds on stage with shattering consequences. Anyone over the age of 18 is invited to apply for the show, which is being performed on March 27-28.

Extras do not need stage experience. Costumes and a rehearsal will be provided on the day. The roles are unpaid.
