FORMER Smith Morrissey’s gig at the Liverpool Empire on May 10 sold out within minutes, leaving many fans (still) feeling low.
But those who didn’t get their hands on a ticket can experience the next best thing.
The Smiths Indeed are playing the 02 Academy Liverpool on Saturday.
The tribute act are returning for a triumphant run-through of The Smiths back catalogue – think flowers, spectacles, open shirts and triumphant sing-a-longs.
Numbers include This Charming Man, How Soon is Now, Girlfriend in a Coma, Bigmouth Strikes Again and There is a Light That Never Goes Out.
Formed in 2005, the tribute to one of Manchester’s most famous bands is made up of four Liverpool-based musicians.
They have played multiple UK tours, as well as European dates, and have sold out numerous venues.
