MORE than 50 exhibitors have signed up to exhibit at the A Foundation’s Liverpool Artists Book Fair this weekend.
Featuring 30 stalls at its Greenland Street headquarters, the free event is an opportunity to meet artists, illustrators and small presses showcasing a selection of artists’ books, comics, zines and paper-based works.
Visitors will be able to buy works of art from as little as £1.
There will be an accompanying programme of activities, readings and performances throughout the weekend, including artist Calum F Kerr wearing a Book Coat, a portable garment containing over 50 individual artist-made books, many for sale.
Carson & Miller will be playing “A Game We Made Up”, inviting visitors to come and watch or to play along with them.
The game is based around the simple selection of cards and the asking and answering of questions.
