THE University of Chester’s 2009 degree show opens at its Kingsway Campus today.
Featuring work created by students on its fine art and photography degree courses, Raw Potential has also been created as a way of thanking the local community for its support in raising funds for the event.
The exhibition will run until June 25 and will then move to the Novas Contemporary Urban Centre, in Liverpool, from July 2-10.
A spokeswoman for the students said exhibiting at CUC will provide the next step in their development as emerging artists and marks a high point in the academic year and community calendar.
Chester fine art and photography is all about the freedom to experiment, be individual and push boundaries, she added.
Chester University Campus is open Monday to Saturday, 10am-4pm.
