PHOTOGRAPHY group Fab Collective is holding the first exhibition of its work next month.
The showcase, Up to Something, will be held at St Luke’s Church, in Liverpool city centre, from August 1-30.
It will include the work of Sam Bytheway, winner of the Daily Post’s recent Mersey Ferries photographic competition.
Formed in January, the organisation is made up of Liverpool-based photographers who met through the photo-sharing website Flickr.
Since then, its members have held a series of themed days, including Finding Fab Faces, when they took as many portrait photographs of as many people as possible in just a few hours, and one spent documenting the Lark Lane area of Aigburth.
Founding member Andy O’Hare said: "I didn’t intend to start a collective, but I’d noticed the same names appearing under the photos I most admired on Flickr.
“Talented photographers, with many different approaches, all producing fantastic images from in and around Liverpool.”
