THE Philharmonic Hall is hosting an open day on Sunday as part of the annual Hope Street Feast.
Vasily Petrenko will be conducting the RLPO in three free concerts, with other performances including Seth Paris’s “West African music meets Lancashire brass band” extravaganza, and the West Everton Children’s Orchestra.
This year, there will be three music stages at the event – on Myrtle Street; Blackburne Place, with performances by LIPA students; and the Guinness Liverpool Irish Festival stage, on Hardman Street.
This is the fourth year of the Hope Street Feast, a family-friendly street party in Liverpool’s Hope Street Quarter with music, theatre, dance, great food, drink and local produce.
A farmers’ market and hot food stalls will run the length of Hope Street, and the Unity and Everyman theatres are also holding open days.
