AN EXHIBITION that uses supermarket-style offers to sell its works has opened in the O8 Place.
The Royal Standard studios is showcasing works from emerging and well-established artists from the UK and farther afield.
The exhibition, Sale, presents constantly changing special offers, with prices from a few pounds to a few hundred, fluctuating as artists’ profiles soar and dive. It includes a vibrant and modern array of paintings, sculpture, drawing, film and photography.
The exhibition is organised in collaboration with Open Culture, an organisation that promotes the creation of culture across Merseyside through advice, support, and key partnership projects by encouraging the public to come up with their own ideas. Its partners include Culture Liverpool, Liverpool Daily Post & Echo, BBC Radio Merseyside, Radio City Group and ICDC.
