CHESTER gallery Jamandic Fine Art launches its winter show next week.
The Bridge Street Row venue, which opened earlier this year, champions original work by British contemporary artists, with particularly strong Welsh connections.
Gallery owner Dominic McParland says: “We are proud to feature works by Gordon Stuart, who has work in the National Portrait Gallery, Lucy Pratt and Rosa Sepple who have exhibited at the Royal Academy.
“We will also feature work by Ishbel McWhirter – well known for her portraits of Melvyn Bragg, Germaine Greer and Lord Longford.”
Other artists with work in the show include Aled Prichard-Jones, Karl Davies, Catrin Williams and Wilf Roberts, whose painting White Cottage is pictured above.
“We hope there is something for all tastes,” adds McParland.
The winter show opens on Saturday, November 7 and runs until January 2010.
