FREELANCE illustrator Mark Harrison is exhibiting a selection of his work at the Unity Theatre.
His first solo show, it includes characters influenced by a childhood love of comics, picture books, toys, animation and 80s computer game magazines.
Born in St Albans, Harrison moved to Liverpool in 1994 and was a director of Arena artist studios from 2005-2007.
Originally working in coloured pencil, pen and watercolour, and later acrylics, he now mainly produces his illustrations digitally.
The Monster Illustration Show runs until November 28.
