A NIGHT of song, folk music, storytelling, poetry and live illustration will take place in the green surroundings of Sefton Park Palm House.
The Twilight Garden Party is being held on Thursday by Almanac Folk, as part of the Liverpool Folk and Roots Festival.
Performers will include Liverpool group Atlantic Massey, made up of former members of prominent local bands The Prelude, Alterkicks, Great North Western Hobos and The Grand Architects. They perform tunes steeped in Celtic rhythm, folk, Americana and country.
Temple Fire includes a harpist, two fiddlers, flutes, guitars and voices from the Faroe Islands, Ireland, and England, with music spanning Scandinavian Celtic, and Eastern influences.
Also on the bill are North Wales singer-songwriter Andy Hickie, Liverpool songwriter-playwriter Lizzie Nunnery and harpist and singer Nula Mathers. During the evening, artist and musician Gary Daly will create a live, large-scale art work inspired by the night.
Almanac Folk curates regular music events centred on merging traditional and alternative approaches to folk music and encouraging collaboration between local artists.
Tickets for the Twilight Garden Party are £5 (plus 50p booking fee) from www.wegottickets.com/event/62534
