ART: Two Grade II-listed buildings have been renovated as a centre for the arts and are now open to the public. Artists Al and Al have curated an exhibition XXX Get Off at Edge Hill. ART: Lisbon-based artist Guedes follows his six- week residency at the Bluecoat with an exhibition featuring objects from the building’s archive and performance. He explores the Bluecoat’s recent history and its evolving relationship with the community.The Bluecoat until December 6.
ART: Op artist Bridget Riley, above, is the focus of The Walker’s latest exhibition, on tour from the Arts Council. View some of her most famous works, as well as studies that have not been seen outside her studio in four decades. Most interesting are the annotations on her preparatory drawings, which reveal the ideas behind her work.The Walker, until December 13.
