OUR Day Out will return to the Royal Court next year, following its sell-out success in 2009.
The musical will be performed on the Liverpool theatre’s stage from August 27 to October 9.
A record-breaking 30,000 people saw the show during its original run.
Kevin Fearon, Royal Court chief executive, says: “It was the biggest show we have produced here and it was an easy decision to bring it back for 2010.
“Not only do we get the kudos of producing a West End-scale musical in our own town, but we get to work with the very best in Liverpool talent, from Willy Russell to the youngest cast member.”
