The Magic of the Beatles recreates Fab Four concerts at St Helens Theatre Royal

A RECREATION of some of The Beatles’ most famous concerts is coming to the Merseyside stage.

The Magic of the Beatles will be at the Theatre Royal, in St Helens, on March 5 to mark the band’s 50th anniversary.

“The Magic of the Beatles is a two-hour spectacular featuring superb costumes and a cast of skilled musicians and singers,” says show producer Michael Taylor.

“It authentically recreates the live concert shows of John, Paul, George and Ringo that generated fan hysteria never seen before or since.

“Who could have imagined just what was to come when the world was introduced to The Beatles in 1960?”

The show retraces the group’s renowned live shows, and offers an insight into Beatlemania at its height.

Producers claim it is the most authentic Beatles show to take to the road – it features some of the group’s original guitars and amps.

“The Magic of the Beatles is the band’s greatest, best-loved hits performed live – from Love Me Do to Let it Be,” adds Taylor.

Songs featured range from the Fab Four’s mop top roots to the Sgt Pepper psychedelic years and include Twist and Shout, She Loves You, Lady Madonna and Revolution.

THE Magic of The Beatles, St Helens Theatre Royal, March 5, tickets £18.50, 01744 756 000.
