FAB Collective’s and Urban Strawberry Lunch’s Hollywood Homeless project on display in Lewis’s windows

THE results of a photography project involving Liverpool homeless people are being displayed in the windows of Lewis’s empty department store.

Sixty-five people, aged 17 to 63, helped create a series of images with photography group FAB Collective and arts organisation Urban Strawberry Lunch.

Some were rough sleepers, some living in hostels and some in their own accommodation. Many of the participants had drug and alcohol related problems.

“It has given me something to do when no one else has ever given me the chance to do anything,” said one participant, Lizzi.

HOLLYWOOD Homeless is on display in the windows of Lewis’s former department store until November.
