PLAYWRIGHT and director John Godber will be hosting an evening at Liverpool Hope University’s Cornerstone Festival next month.
The West Yorkshire visiting professor of popular theatre will screen his Bafta-winning children’s drama, The Odd Squad, and answer questions from the audience.
Internationally-renowned pianist Joanna MacGregor will perform all of Chopin’s 58 Mazurkas, which she describes as “one of the greatest collections of piano literature” in another festival event.
Folk artist Kathryn Tickell will be joined by her band for a special one-off concert, while London-based playwrights and theatre practitioners, The Miniaturists, will present Liars, a night featuring Liverpool writers, actors, directors and musicians.
This is the 10th year of the Cornerstone Festival, which runs from November 17 to December 4.
