AWARD-winning stand up comedian Jason Manford will perform his first live arena tour across the UK in autumn 2011, taking in Liverpool’s Echo Arena on October 11.
Currently performing his smash-hit new show Off On Tour We Go to sell-out crowds around the country, he is set to entertain around half a million fans during 2010-2011.
“If someone had told me 10 years ago when I was telling jokes down at my local that I’d be doing arenas by the time I was 30, I’d have said they should give comedy a go,” says Manford.
“It’s a really exciting opportunity and I am going to give it my best shot.”
The show will include tales of shower mishaps, visiting dangerous animals and nappies.
The 8 out of 10 Cats team captain has been a favourite with comedy fans since his first solo stand-up show earned him a Perrier Newcomer award nomination back in 2005.
