SCIENCE-fiction writer Stephen Baxter is the latest name to sign up to the Liverpool Daily Post & Echo’s online literature festival.

The world-renowned author, who grew up in Liverpool, will be answering your questions on the LiveRead 2011 website at 12.30pm on March 1.

He joins Ormskirk-based Torchwood writer John Fay, Daily Post columnist Jane Costello and Al Lad’s creator, Marc Gee, in taking part in the celebration of Liverpool writing and writers.

This year’s event, which culminates on World Book Day, will see the return of author readings, interviews with best-selling writers and our popular serialised story, which unravels according to your votes.

We will also be publishing a series of ebooks featuring readers’ poems and stories.

LIVEREAD takes place from March 1-3. Further details at www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/liveread
