THE Fab Collective has tackled tough subjects close to its heart in its latest exhibition.
Created in response to the Look 11 photography festival’s theme “A call to action”, Collective Action features images on the topics of funding cuts, regeneration and support for young carers.
Shown in the atrium of the Daily Post’s Old Hall Street headquarters, it presents a diverse range of photographic stylesŠacross portraits, street scenes and still life as well as a range of different printing techniques.
Formed in 2009, Fab Collective is a disparate assembly of local photographic talent that came together on photo sharing website Flickr and was born out of a common passion for Liverpool, its places, people, and events.
Look 1, is Liverpool’s inaugural photography festival, opened on Friday at venues throughout the city centre. It features the work of keen amateurs alongside professional photographers, many of them world famous.
