THE opening of the National Gallery’s much-feted Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition will be screened live at FACT’s Picturehouse cinema tonight.

Sky Arts presenters Mariella Frostrup and Tim Marlow, also director of the White Cube gallery, will be joined by a cast of celebrated guests from the worlds of art, fashion, theatre and film to bring a unique look behind the scenes.

The 80-minute broadcast will also feature in-depth analysis of the key exhibits, in a show which brings together the largest ever number of Da Vinci’s rare surviving paintings. The exhibition includes international loans never before seen in the UK and will be the first time that both versions of the Virgin of the Rocks, from the Louvre and the National Gallery, will be viewed together.
