RADIO 4 stand-up poet Kate Fox is appearing at the Sefton Celebrates Writing Festival tonight.
Dubbed a “Northern Pam Ayres for the Facebook age”, she brings her new show, 21st Century Fox, to The Civic in Crosby.
Tickets to the event, with includes a Q&A session with the audience and a book signing, are half price for Daily Post readers – £4 (£3 concs) instead of £8 (£6 concs) – on a first come first served basis.

Away from the festival, there are a few tickets left for an evening with international best-selling author Maggie Stiefvater, whose soon-to-be-released film Shiver is has been billed as the next Twilight.
She will be in Gourmet Coffee, Exchange Flags, Liverpool city centre, on Saturday for a book signing and Q&A session to promote her new book The Scorpio Races.
