THE team behind the Tales From Haunted Liverpool series have turned their attentions to Charles Dickens.
Excerpts from the Victorian author’s most popular tales including Oliver, Great Expectations and Hard Times will be presented at their latest performance in St George’s Hall’s Concert Room.
Taking place on April 12-13, Tales From Charles Dickens is part of the Dickens 2012 nationwide programme of events and exhibitions to mark the bi-centenary of his birth.
Director Jen Heyes says: “It is referenced widely that Charles Dickens loved Liverpool so only right that we should take part in this year long festival.
“As Dickens himself said, the Concert Room is a perfect venue.”
