IT HAD its first outing at the Write Now one act play festival in 2011.
Then it transferred to the Edinburgh Fringe where it enjoyed a sold-out run.
Now playwright David Griffiths’ Excess Baggage returns to Liverpool as a full-length production – with all-new characters, scenes and a new ending – which is being premiered at the Lantern Theatre in Blundell Street.
Jack (Chris Crookall) and Kristy (Angela Simms) are married now and his parents will just have to live with it.
That’s if they ever make it out of the airport.
The guy who left his bag said he'd only be a minute. How long's he been now?
Meanwhile Liverpool based David, who is also a comic book author, follows Excess Baggage with a new production, Pathos, Wholesale at Festopia – a dystopian future festival – at Camden’s Theatre503 in January.
Excess Baggage is at the Lantern Theatre on December 13-14.
