Former Liverpool biennial director Lewis Biggs joins FACT’s board of trustees

FORMER Liverpool Biennial director Lewis Biggs has been appointed to FACT’s board of trustees.

Biggs left his post at the contemporary visual arts festival in May to become a freelance curator, writer and consultant.

He is international advisor to Rockbound Art Gallery, in Shanghai, edits the Tate Modern Artists series and is a visiting professor of contemporary art at Liverpool Art School.

Tate Liverpool director from 1990-2000, Biggs will take up his role at the Wood Street arts centre this month, joining a team of trustees that include FACT’s recently appointed chair Sarah Fisher.
