Allerton eaterie named Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year for the North West

LIVERPOOL restaurant Spire was named as The Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year for the North West.

Chef and owner of the Allerton restaurant, Matt Locke, said: “Hearing the news that we had won was an extremely proud moment – to be singled out by your customers in this way is a very special feeling and one we will cherish.”

More than 27,500 diners nominated their favourite restaurants nationally, which needed to be independently-run, offering regional produce and consistently great food and excellent service.Š

Spire will now go through to the national final, where the winner will be announced on June 23.
